LPD has a substation on Fergus Rd, in the same building as the fire hall. They’ve had a motorcycle cop hide behind a mail box on at least one occasion at around 7 PM. The only thing that gave him away was his helmet.
Murfreesboro Road near Floyd Mayfield Drive
LPD likes to sit in places all along Murfreesboro Rd so that you don’t see them until you get on top of hills. This is especially common if you are heading towards Nashville, just before you get to Floyd Mayfield.
It is also worth noting that LPD only has 3 officers certified with a radar gun, and that this fact is public information.
Jefferson Pike Street near Murfreesboro Road
After turning onto Jefferson pike from Murfreesboro rd there is a train bridge that you go up and over then back down the other side with the speed limit being 15 MPH over the bridge and down slope until you hit the 35 MPH zone.The cops sit at the bottom were they are not seen until you crest the hill and they will flag you over literally a few feet in front of the 35 MPH sign,if going anything over the 15.(So wait until you crest the hill to advance your speed to the posted 35)

The La Vergne city police like to keep Waldron Road covered up with cops. Waldron Road is basically an extension of Murfreesboro Road that goes to I-24, to give some reference points.
