Millersville, Tennessee Speed Traps
Speed limit abruptly changes from 40 to 30 with no warning signage. City cops watch this a lot looking for easy money.
speed on 31w is 45 mph yet the down sloping hill with no formal regulatory signage along the hill cause folks to coast. By the time they reach the bottom of the hill in this country atmosphere they are nail as they hit the flats doing easy 60mph from coasting. Traffic tickets are a main source of this tiny cities budget!
There is always at least one officer sitting in the median or along the side of the Interstate between exit number 98 and 108 on Interstate 65 North and South in Tennessee.
Millersville Police park along I-65 between exit 98 (Millerville) and Ridgetop exit. They hide in medium and at Ridgetop exit just over crest of hill. They are out daily filling the town coffers with speed fines.
Officer will park his car on the southbound side of Williamson Road approx. 3/4 mile from the US 31W/Williamson Road intersection. There is an inlet buried in the trees next to the creek and a curve that help to hide the car from view until you are on top of it. Common to have the car there especially more toward the end of the month (quota time)…but, they will be there throughout the month…particularly in the morning hours between 7 – 9 AM.
