Abilene, Texas Speed Traps

When you exit from Winters Freeway at S. 7th, there is often an officer parked in the parking lot of one of the businesses along the access road (Danville) running radar. The speed limit goes from 60 on the highway down to 35 or 40 on the access road. My husband goes to work that way and has received a ticket there and has observed him there on many other occasions.

City police is mainly there during shift changes at the Abilene State School.

Cop sits beside the 7/11 on the corner of Ambler and Treadaway and preys on the college students between HSU and ACU, then lies on tickets and puts that the person was past the speed limit sign, when they hadnt even got to the speed limit sign yet.

cop car sits just north of the bridge on dub wright/arnold blvd. masked by very few trees. only seen once but base officials have asked abilene PD to strictly enforce the area right off base

On Buffalo Gap Road. B/t ridgemont and Antilley Road. Cop sits at the Red Church(UCC Church I think). It is a Abilene PD
