Enfield Exit off of North MoPac

Austin, TexasSep 01, 20110 Comments

The Enfield exit off of Mopac going north has a posted speed limit of 25 mph. About 100 feet off of a highway with a speed limit of 65, the limit drops down to 25! This is an exit with heavy traffic because it leads straight to the state capitol building so weekday mornings this entire road is packed. I see cops sitting behind bushes and on side streets waiting for people to come off of the highway. It isn’t even safe to break that fast coming off of the highway! This exit drives me nuts!
