FM 148 near Entering city limits from Scurry/Warsaw

The entire area of Crandall is excessively patrolled for speeding. They have speed drops within the minimum allowed distances. They sit on overpasses to patrol interstate 175 and have taken to posting multiple units on foot at the intersection of FM 148 & Hwy 175 to write you up for anything from your license plate holders to not wearing your seatbelt.

I have never gotten stopped in Crandall, But I assure you ,you had best be going the posted speed limit in this small town. They have a very good reputation for ticketing one or two miles an hour over posted speed limit. Very well equipped Patrol cars.
