Cross Plains, Texas Speed Traps

City cop sit just inside a 10 mph drop in speed limit on a curve. Probably could not prove that he was actually shooting you past the speed limit change. I was charged with the the same posted speed of the previous limit and was following another vehicle. In a weeks time I found four other people nailed the same way. None from that town.

I travel through this town many times a month and almost always see the local policeman taking pictures , most times he has someone stopped. I have not rec ticket but many friends have. I understand that out of town tickets are a major source of income for the city. Speed limit drops fast coming into town. Beware if you are not a local!
