Euless, Texas Speed Traps
Trinity Boulevard near Main Street
Just east of Main Street, there are several medians with trees occluding the view. There are also turn lanes breaking the medians. The speed limit is 40, but most people go 45-50. Police often hide in the turn lanes (view occluded by trees until you get almost upon them), and just turn behind you as you speed past. I was guilty of speeding, but on a clear mid-morning and was one of very few cars on the road.
US Highway 183 near Industrial Road
If you are driving east on 183, when you exit to Industrial, immediately to your right (sitting in the shopping center parking lot) will be an officer clocking speeders coming off the highway. He will also tag those who do not stop at the stop sign where the access road intersects with the exit. You may also find this officer underneath the 183 overpass clocking speeders from all 4 directions as well.
US Highway 360 near E Glade Road
Typically, one low profile police office with Lidar will park at the on ramp on the south side of Glade and shoots the Lidar down 360 under the overpass. You can’t see the car or the officer until it’s WAY too late. Then he just waits for you to drive by and comes up behind you. Luckily, I know it’s there, but my radar detector has gone off many times and they end up stopping the person behind me. Speed limit is 60.
State Highway 360 near E Mid Cities Boulevard
Typically, a low profile patrol car sits around the corner on north bound traffic (Lidar or Radar) or under the overpass (Radar) on south bound traffic. Speed limit is 60.
Glade Road near State Highway 121
Construction area on Glade Road. Speed Limit is 20. I was stopped for 35 on a Sunday (No traffic). Glade is currently limited to one lane each way. 20 is ridiculously low and the posted speed sign is obstructed by construction signs (i.e. Merge right).
