Hickory Creek, Texas Speed Traps

Southbound on I-35E within the “City”” Limits of Hickory Creek (North Of Lewisville/South Of Denton) be sure to observe the posted speed limit of 65 through this “”town””. A Hickory Creek Officer has been noted to post himself along the side of the road with his lights off and nail (supposedly with Radar) unsuspecting cars passing by. Since it’s night and the road is relatively clear..people (myself included) have a tendency to forget the posted limit. Also it’s very hard to see this guy sometimes..so be aware.”
