Keller, Texas Speed Traps

Motorcycle officer hides on side street, south of North Tarrant Parkway, West of Lowes Store, about two blocks west of the intersection of Rufe Snow and North Tarrant Parkway. Mainly catches west bound motorists. Boulevard type street. Lidar used, automatic doors on nearby CVS store interfere with this Laser ranging and distance system. Police enforcement has been almost daily for months. Location is one block east of Indian Springs Middle School. Speed limit drops from 45MPH on this road in North Richland Hills to 30 when it crosses into Keller, despite the fact that the Keller road is a divided road with boulevard.

The speed limit drops from 45 to around 30 here and we were pulled over for going 55. The thing is we weren’t speeding. I think they clocked someone else but thought it was us. They only gave us a warning however.

East from Roanoke and the 114 by-pass thru Trophy Club to Southlake. Although this stretch of road is not inside the city limits of Keller, The town of Westlake has a contract with Keller for Police and Fire services. Late night, look out! Will be stopped for any minor infraction including no license plate light. Enforcement heavy 10 pm to early AM hours looking for DWI’s.

Rufe snow is a long hilly road with many good hiding spots,the 35 speed limit is a cash cow for the city. Units patrol this road constantly and will profile any car at night. you will get a ticket for any speed over the posted 35. If it is after 10p.m. in Keller you will be stopped.
