Lakeway, Texas Speed Traps
Lohmans Spur
This road used to be a part of Lohmans Cossing but is now an access road named Lohmans Spur that connects to Lohmans Crossing. This road has been altered so that police officers can hide on the shoulder behind a grove of trees at the bottom of the hill. Be careful to maintain 30 MPH by riding your brakes as you decend the steep hill. Coasting alone will accelerate your vehicle to about 45-50 MPH. This road, with a 30 MPH limit, was constructed specificlly as a speed trap. There are no schools, houses, crosswalks, or businesses connected to this road and the limits to the roads it connects are both 40 MPH.
