Lavon Police have new Black Dodge Chargers and now has 24 hr coverage. SH 78 north and southbound from FM 6 to SH 205. Lavon is back to the Old days.

I drive through this city everyday and don’t think the police do enough. Most of SH 78 is 55 or 60 mph. I have had cars pass me in no passing zones at what seems like 80 MPH. For those that are reckless and drive without care or safety in mind for others should be ticketed.
While driving through FM 6 at SH 78 about 8 PM a week or two ago, there was a very bad accident and one of the firemen almost got hit by a car that didn’t care.
I hope Lavon tickets all of you who speed recklessly in the metroplex.

This small Texas Town has about 2-3 miles to patrol on Hwy 78.They pull off road around the Ridge Rd.intersection.This Redneck town only has a couple of cruisers,but they spend all day writing tickets for as little as 3 mph over speed limit.They were listed #1 speed trap in North Texas by a local TV News report
