Nederland, Texas Speed Traps

Basically the nederland avenue near the pawn shop and also across from the spa, on saturday and sunday

Also in the morning when people are going to work.

US 69 just north of Nederland Ave. to Beaumont City Limits. Texas DPS, Jefferson County Sherrif, and Constable all patroll this area heavily because there are several prisons on this stretch of highway. DPS and Sherrifs Dept both like to sit just at top of overpasses and catch speeders with instant on Radar as you top the overpass!

I have a scanner and have heard the cops on Radar from the 3000-3500 block of Nederland Avenue. The speed limit is 30 until 27th street (2700 block?) and then just 35 after that. It is posted when it goes from 30-35 and it posted at the very beginning of the road that its 30 but there is not a posting in between. Most people go like 35 or 40 anyway, tho…
