Odessa, Texas Speed Traps
US Highway Business 20 or HWY 80 near Start of Construction
There is at least a mile of construction on HWY 80 and the speed limit drops from 65 to 55 then all of a sudden to 45. I got a ticket going home from work one morning, not realizing the speed limit had dropped to 45. They said on the news that the police were writing up to 80 tickets a day! And since it’s in a construction zone the fines double. So be careful and slow down!
