Three tickets in two weeks. Sulphur springs has just made this a cash cow for them. When I pass through the only way I don’t get stopped is when the cops are busy giving the ticket to someone else. No front plate, 68 in 60, 69 in 60 anything they can make on someone they will write you up. Don’t support this city. Avoid it at all costs!

South of Sulphur Springs on Hwy 154
The posted speed limit is 60 MPH in Hopkins County which is 10 MPH lower as soon as you enter Hopkins County from Wood County. The State Troopers sit at the bottom of the hill about 1 mile north of the county line.
