FM 346 coming into WH

Tyler, TexasJan 13, 20111 Comments

Coming from Tyler from Hwy. 69 S into the WH area, be sure to slow down to the posted speed limits. It goes from 50 to 40 to 35 in a short time. When you have to slow to 40, you are on a downhill slope, so you will have to brake to get to that speed. Watch out, they will be there to stop you if you don’t, especially when it turns into 35 mph. Don’t get caught here, they will ticket you in a minute! No mercy in WH!!!!

If your coming down Hwy 69(from Lindale),you cross over loop 323 and right as you pass Motel 6 on the right & before McDonalds on the left, there is ALWAYS,especially early in the a.m.,a motorcycle policeman. He stops one right after another.I would watch him while working @ Motel 6 rack up car after car.Its usually ppl coming in to go to work early in the a.m.,where the speed drops right there to 40.

East-bound traffic tends to speed up as they travel downhill while the speed limit is dropping from 45 to 35. Motorcycle radar enforcement usually is concealed among business parking on south side of Erwin.

East Front Street & Fleishiel at overpass

Tyler, TexasJul 08, 20100 Comments

Moto cop sets on the over pass at fleishel or the other one and shoots traffic from the east and also west on front. When traveling on front be sure to look up at the overpass because 80% of the time there is one there. They will also hide on the side street by D’s Resturant.

S. Broadway and Rowland Pl.

Tyler, TexasMay 26, 20100 Comments

Going North on South Broadway, a motorcycle cop with radar likes to hide behind the wall of the Children’s Park just past Hogg Middle School on the right. He enjoys the shade of a low hanging tree and likes to get cars that have picked up speed on the downhill section from Bergfield Park. Speed limit is 35mph.
