Van Alstyne, Texas Speed Traps

Multiple officers, 1officer will sit just south of the bridge on the west side of the roadway (SB-75), right as you leave Howe city limits and are entering the Van Alstyne jurisdiction, I believe it’s the farmington road overpass. A second officer will sit approx 1/2 mile south of there just over a hill, you won’t see him/her until it’s too late! Be Careful!

Southbound, two within a two mile stretch sitting on the driver’s right side, one on the north side of town just below a bridge, other back in trees along the access road.

The speed limit changes from 5 times in a mile stretch when heading northbound, just after the sports complex on left hand side of the road. I havent seen the police setting up shop here in a while but they have before so be careful, especially in the school zone.

at the end of the construction zone a lone policeman standing outside the car, behind the “constuction ended”” sign. he will get you inside the construction zone and nail you with a huge fine.”
