Windcrest, Texas Speed Traps

Roughrider is 30 mph until about 30 ft from Windway going east where the speed limit drops to 20mph. The police wait in an alley on Windway. It also seemed odd that a car looking like a cab kept pointing at the police officer and waving at me as if they were working together as I turned on Windway. The streets Windway and Roughrider both have 4 lanes and are non residential and there are no schools anywhere for miles.

From the Highschool to IH-35 is Windcrest and they are there just about every morning by the Starbuck or a little further back waiting for you.

The whole town is a radar trap because the posted speed limit is only 20 mph! These cops have nothing to do in this sleepy bedroom town. They will pull you over for anything.

This is one of the worst small towns for radar enforcement! The speed limit on ALL streets in this town is 20mph! The police department is over zealous for issuing citations, for the smallest infractions, to the extent of zero tolerance.
