Orem, Utah Speed Traps

It’s 25mph and downhill. Motorcycles will often hide in the parking lot of Nielsen’s Grove Park at the bottom of the hill.

Got nailed here recently. The limit is 25, the sign is not too far behind a tree and easy to miss, and driving down the road you would think the limit is 35 but it’s not. Beware!!!

There was three bike cops (ticket cops) standing in the road telling everyone to pull over because obviously its downhill and its only a 25 MPH. They were the most rude bike cops I have ever witnessed. Sorry if you live in Orem!!!! I sure am!!!! They should be out fighting crime not ruining peoples day!

I’ve seen police on this street day and night. They wait all along the street, from Orem Boulevard down to UVSC. It’s a wide street with the back of strip malls all along its length, with a posted 25 mph limit. I’ve never actually been caught here, but I’ve seen nearly two dozen traffic stops here in the last few months.

It’s a wide road posted at 25 mph. Cops will write you a ticket if you go 30+.
