West Valley City, Utah Speed Traps

This is a neighborhood street leading into a business park. A favorite spot on nice days for WVC Police to hide in the driveway of apartment complex by bushes. The speed is posted at 25, but people want to get to work or leave work are in a hurry. 10-15 over limit is common.

They are there most of the time and it is amazing that people know they are there and still speed. Sometimes they will layer as in you see one pass him thinking you are clear so you speed up but there are 2 more waiting for you. one with the gun and one to get ya.

sets in police car in wellfargo parking lot between 4:30 am to 6 AM

between 3100 so and 3500 so on 2200 west going north and south

The motor cycle cops sit on the side walk in the shade or behind parked cars. The speed limit is posted at 35mph. They are anywhere in-between where the frontage road turns into Constitution Blvd(2700 W.) and Parkway on the south end at the intersection.
