Fairfax, Vermont Speed Traps
Speed limit is 50 mph. there. You can’t see them behind the trees from the property right before that dirt road. Good Luck!
Milton Cops routinely run up and down this road with instant on Radar. The speed limit is 40 mph, way to slow as it is way out in the country. Most cars do at least 50. Lots of hills and curves to hide them. They run from the Colchester Line all the way to Husky Injection Moulding Road. I have seen them at all time of the day and or night.
Officers will sit in dirt pulloff east of high bridge. Usually at rush hour or early evening.
On route 104 between St Albans and Fairfax, LEO’s will park in either Fuel Tank Lot or side road before. Can be either Vermont State Police or Local Franklin County sheriff. Speed Limit is 50mph. They will Usually get you on long straightaway on 104 between Wagner Road and top of hill before 104a. They also use instant on coming in opposite direction.
I live on straightaway and see cars pulled over there several times a week in the evening.
At Nan’s Mobile near Buck Hollow Road, state or local police will hide behind the store or in the shadows in the evening. Typically they are nabbing the cars heading south because the speed drops from 55 to 35-40 in the short stretch of the hollow as it comes up to the station.
