When heading northbound on 28, right before the “Leesburg, Tysons Corner sign, there’s usually always a State Trooper sitting on the right side, clocking speeders using Radar and Laser! Watch it! Speed limit 55!!
Ashburn Farm Parkway near Belmont Ridge Road

Ashburn Road
Two traps off Ashburn Road:
First trap is at/near the Volunteer Fire and Rescue station near Hay Road. Not consistent, but cyclical and seasonal.
Second trap is in back section of the Ashburn Presbyterian Church parking lot across from Tolamac Drive. Frequent, and usually shooting radar at drivers heading in either direction, but particularly those approaching from Gloucester Parkway and heading toward Farmwell Rd/Ashburn Farm Parkway.
Belmont Ridge Rd south of Greenway exit/entrance
Construction in the area has reduced speed limit from 45 to 35 with added fines imposed. Police are catching Belmont Ridge Rd NORTHBOUND drivers as they approach the construction area. Usually stopping them on the Greenway overpass. They are probably watching SOUTHBOUND traffic as well.
