Burke Lake Road near Rolling Road

2 of them, actually. Traveling northeast on Burke Lake Road approaching Rolling Road, they sit in the residential road (Signal Hill). Going the other direction (southwest)about a half mile down they hide at the entrance to Lake Braddock High School, but that one I’ve seen only nights and weekends.

The cops like this spot because it’s well hidden from sight from a distance, and there’s a downward slope in the road so it’s easy to pick up speed. They have speed limit signs (I believe 30 or 35) before the intersection so you can’t use the excuse of not seeing a sign.

Midway bewteen Burke Centre shopping center and the shopping center with the Wal-Mart there is often an officer standing out on the corner pointing a radar gun towards West Bound traffic. I used to take this road to work and saw an officer standing there (with a couple police cars on the small residential street) The officer has a fairly good view so it’ll be too late by the time you see him. This is on the residential street which I believe is the only street that doesn’t have a traffic light between the traffic light BEFORE the one for Roberts Road and the one just after Burke Centre.
I have also seen cops pulling over 3 cars at a time near Burke Lake Road (West Bound)

Nasty Speed trap over a hill, just as the road widens.

Burke Lake Rd Between Rolling and Lake Braddock Dr.

There is a slight hill as you head towards Rolling Rd. Cops always hide in the devolpment and walk out to pull you over. Flow of traffic is usually near 45 in this 35 zone.
