Clifton, Virginia Speed Traps

As you head South into Clifton on Clifton road (va 645), the speed limit will go from 45 to 35, and then only about 50 yards later to 25. Most people don’t catch that second sign right after the first, and I see people pulled over pretty much daily on my way to and home from work. The police hide behind trees and around curves, but also right behind the intersection at the end of clifton road as you’re about to turn into clifton — they’ll get you AFTER you stop and head into town; you won’t even know where you were "speeding" because most people are slowing down to stop for the intersection before they hit the 25mph sign, but they don’t slow down quick enough! I’ve also seen people pulled over on the other side of clifton, and I’ve seen unmarked cars by the golf course and horse farms north on Clifton closer to Braddock Rd.
