East 104th Street near East 196th Avenue
This is another Bonney Lake revenue generator. It is located near the bus barn and school on 104th St E. We should be careful near schools but this road is very visible and the photo radar is not necessary.

Highway 410 near Welcome to Bonney Lake Sign
The police hide behind the welcome to Bonney Lake sign and catch you as the speed limit drops at the top of the hill leading into town.
Church Lake Road near State Highway Sumner/Buckley
Officers often sit in the valley of Church Lake Road between Sumner/Buckley Hwy and West Tapps Hwy. There is a make-shift speed bump there and cops are often off the road in the small development with radar. The limit is 25, but coming into that valley at that speed is incredibly hard.

Locust Avenue
This "trap" is catching literally hundreds of Bonney Lake and out of town residents that happen to travel through this area. Locust Ave has at least two speed bumps on a 25mph street. In addition there is a elementary school one block off of Locust Ave. so the local city council has seen fit to add a 20mph zone for less than 1000 feet on Locust Ave. The speed limit (school zone) is enforced 6am to 6pm. We’re all interested in keeping our children safe, but this speed trap isn’t about keeping children safe, it’s about collecting revenue and a city council that preys on it’s citizens.
