Bonney Lake, Washington Speed Traps
104 th St. E. In front of Bonney Lake High School
Police officers will often sit and wait with radar guns for unsuspecting people on the way to church. It’s 9am, the streets are abandoned and the officers get people running late/in a hurry by parking behind bushes and waiting for you to come down the hill.
64th Street West of 218th / 214th leading to Inlet Island.
Long wooded straight away, then dog-legs to the left. Officers sit (eating dounuts) at the end and can never finish one… 25 MPH posted, was 35 not long ago.
SR 410 east
Driving up highway 410 from Sumner, about 3/4 way up on right side.
Elhi Hill, State Route 410 E & W Bound
The speed on Elhi Hill is 45 miles an hour starting EB half way up the hill continuing on all the way through Bonney Lake. WB speeds up to 55 mph half way down. Both the Bonnie Lake Police and the State Patrol use laser guns in numerous places in that 45 mph speed zone on Elhi Hill.
112th off of 234th
When turning onto 112th off of 234 the Pierce County Sheriff or State trooper sit back in a private drive way right before you crest the little knoll going east and west and that is where they get get you.
It is 25mph and I was stopped doing 29 mph not knowing the limit dropped from 35 to 25.
