Two cops hidden on the side off the road got my speed and pulled me over
North bound on highway 169, just north of 196 Ave SE
North bound just past the 196th Ave SE intersection, 169 becomes 4 lanes. At that point you are coming out of a curve and come down a small knoll and a patrol car is parked on the shoulder on the right side. He is difficult to see and partially hidden until it is too late. He has been there several Sunday mornings. Sure not a safety issue at that time.
SE 232nd between Highway 18 and 192nd ave SE
Speed limit 40 (35 east of 196th) King County motorcycle cops reside anywhere along this stretch which is easily traveled over 40mph.
Witte Rd. in front of Wilderness Elementary School
My daughter got a ticket for doing 28mph in front of Wilderness Elementary. The light that states 20mph speed limit when flashing or when children are present was not flashing. It was 12:45 in the afternoon and there were no children in site, but the officer said that children were present at the school, therefore children were present.
Good luck getting my vote at the next election for increased police funding.
