Renton, Washington Speed Traps
Interstate 405 near Benson Avenue
(South Bound I-405) WSP sitting one block past the Benson Ave overpass/bridge on the left shoulder of the HOV lane. (this is the last curve of the Renton S curves, so you won’t see the police until it’s too late). I think they were checking for HOV violators, but it also looked like he was had his radar out too.

Rainier Avenue near Renton Airport
On Rainier Avenue N. from B&B Auto Parts North to the Seattle city limits. Motorcycle patrol from Renton PD will sit in two way turn lane and typically catch speeders North & Southbound on Rainer near N. entrance to airport. Just North, near the "Why Grocery" they will sit on the East side of Rainer (Renton and King County PD) and blend in with parked cars and run radar. They will also sit in the grocery parking lot and the Chamber of Commerce parking lot. It is 35 MPH zone and they are typically there on sunny days.

Petrovitsky Street near 128th – 140th Streets
They hide in driveways on the South side of the street
Monroe Ave NE Avenue near NE 7th Street
The cop usually park inside the parking lot of the church sitting at the intersection of Monroe Ave and NE 7th Street pretending to be just one of the parked cars in the lot. Most people would not spot him.
Also, they sometimes park on the street near the stop sign at NE 10th Street and Kirkland Ave NE catching people not making complete stop.
Benson Drive near 27th Street
Multiple motorcycle officers sit on 27th just off of Benson Drive S. Very difficult to see them and some use Laser and can get you before you get within 1000 feet of 27th! They get cars going both north (downhill) and south on Benson Drive. They’ll easily stop 20+ in an hour, I know because after I got a ticket I sat and watched 3 of them stop other cars at the same time.
