NE 155th St. and 14th Ave. NE

Shoreline, WashingtonDec 29, 20093 Comments

The police car is parked on the south side of NE 155th St. at the base of a long gradual 2/10 of a mile hill. The posted speed is 30mph. Since cars naturally pick up a bit of speed descending on a long hill it is easy to hand out tickets here. The police can be found here during noonish hours several times a week. The cop points his laser gun up the hill at descending cars headed eastbound (towards Fircrest).

This is a school zone and there is a high amount of enforcement on school days. The speed limit is normally 35 MPH and it is dropped to 20 MPH when the lights are flashing.
