They hide somewhere. Speed limit goes from 50 to 25 with nothing in between. Do not waste your time contesting your ticket in the kangaroo court they hold on the second floor of the old fire company. [I’ve tried]. This is your typical poor W.V. town (cars on cinder blocks in front yard, couch on porch, shoeless women, etc.) and their source of income is YOUR speeding ticket. AVOID THIS TOWN AT ALL COSTS!

Cop hides in an unmarked car in private driveways within a 1/2 mile stretch. Speed limit drops from 50 to 25. If they ticket you, they want the fine payable to the town itself, not a district court. This place is a racket. Avoid if possible.
