i got a ticket for going 32 in a 25 . never saw a speed limit sign but my guess this is the small town’s main source of revenue.

Quick slow down from 55 to 25. We were driving a rented out of state car. Stopped for doing 30 in a 25.

WARNING: This town tickets for as little as one MPH over the limit. Town of only 300 has two full-time always-new police cars. A favorite trick on the west end of town is to set up looking out Cedar Street, which is about 100 feet before the 40 MPH sign. If you begin to speed up from 25 to the new limit before passing the sign, they get you. But they will set up anywhere along the highway, and passing one trap does not mean you can speed up as often the second car is set up just down the road. The 25 MPH zone means 25!!! Not 34, not 29, not even 26! It’s the town’s main source of revenue. I and my friends will not patronize any business within the town limits.

My car has Pennsylvania Plates. Police car pulled me over shortly after I had bought and eaten my lunch at a local 7/11 store. Officer said I had been going 39 mph in a 25 mph zone. No idea what my speed was, but I don’t think it was excessive. Fine- $115.00 plus increased insurance premium.
