East Troy, Wisconsin Speed Traps
I43 & Townline Road (just west of Hwy 120)
Going north or southbound on I43, just before the bridge that crosses over Townline Road, is a municipal turn around between the N and S sides of the freeway. They sit on both sides of the turn around.. The southbound side you can usually see pretty far back but the northbound side is obscured by an incline so you dont see him sitting there until you come over it. ADDITIONALLY. On the southbound side, during dry weather, they sit directly across from the municipal turnaround, in the weeds, hidden partially by trees. OFF THE ROAD by a good 20 feet! I know this one well, got nailed with instant on radar there one day! Nice little ticket 🙂
I-43 and the rest area between EastTroy/Elkhorn
Almost daily on the Southbound side but I have seen 5 car speed traps on both sides during summer/concert season. Southbound: at the bottom of the rest area. Northbound: at the top of the rest area. They sit in the divider between the highway and the road leading to/from the rest area.
State Highway L near Interstate 43
A lot of the time there is a cop sitting at the municipal land just across from the airport on Highway L about a quarter mile from highway 20. Watchout for them, sometimes they like to tuck themselves in back.
Hwy 43 , from Bowers Road exit to Hwy 20 exit
cop sits on crossover out of site till you are upon him – gets cars going N or S
