Janesville, Wisconsin Speed Traps
Speed stays at 45 well out of town though most will feel it should be at least 55, Officer will sit on a side street and snag people coming into town that do not slow down or those who speed up to early. Sometimes you won’t even be pulled over until you’re almost to Milton.
New addition of Hwy 11 was created with 4 lane traffic. Like Hwy 12, 151, 50 65mph is stated speed. At the time of ticket, they posted a 55mph sign on the back of another sign. There was no other posted sign for speed. State/County/city will sit around last curved back up on the north side of the road. They built a concrete slab for this very reason.
Cop on bridge and 6 cars waiting on both sides, to pull you over
A State Patrol sits on top of the bridge, barily visible unless someone is very cautious. Using low power laser, he picks off people in the southbound lanes of the construction zone. Be very careful. Anything over 65mph will get you pulled. The posted limit is 55 and being in a construction zone, the fine is double
