Waukesha, Wisconsin Speed Traps
County Trunk LO near County Trunk I
Turning East on to LO from Hwy I you really need to drop your speed. You may have been going 50 on I but the speed limit is 35 on that section of LO. I am constantly seeing people pulled over right where the new sewer lines are going in.
Grandview Boulevard near St Paul Avenue
According to an officer on 9/19/05, they have instructions to rigorously enforce the 25 mph speed limit due to bike rider complaints. They are watching the area near the entrance to the bike trail, and he told me they are under orders to not give any warnings.
Interstate I 94 near Exit Number 293
A squad car from either the Wisconsin State Patrol (Blue Crown Vic) or Waukesha Sheriff (White Crown Vic or Blue Dodge Intrepid) sits on the on-ramp just from Exit 293.
Most week days there is a car there at evening rush.
Sunset Avenue near Big Bend Road
Police Car sits right off of Sunset Ave on Big Bend Rd (across from Pick n’ Save) You can see him going towards 1-64/59 but not comming from. I see them there about once a week.
Sunset Drive Drive near Between East and Prarie Avenue
The Speed limit in the strech is 25 which is outragously slow there are almost no homes only business and both ends of the streach the Speed limit is 35. There is no reason at all why it has to be 25. For me I have a hard time keeping my speed down. I know someone who did get a ticket there. I have been careful just to avoid that strech of road
