Rockwall police seemingly sit near the entrance to the Shores all day, they will catch you for "rolling stops" if you don't come to a complete stop and then wait a second or two at the stop sign. $188 fine

West bound service road between Ridge Road and Horizon   Rockwall, Texas

12-25-09 8:00 PM Rockwall PD pulled me over not for speeding but expired registration sticker. It was pitch black and I still don't know how he saw it. I never saw him until he hit his lights from behind just before the intersection of Horizon and I-30 westbound service road just before Snuffer's.

Officer sits behind Home Depot with his trusty laser... I think it's 40 mph, beware, they will nab you.

going eastbound, 1st exit off I-30, Horizon exit   Rockwall, Texas

Whatever you do don't cross that double line as you get off.... For someone that was used to that road being dual traffic towards the Oar House, it is now only one way going east.... officer sits in the median.. beware...
