US Route 68; Upper Valley Pike; Tremont City   German Township, Ohio

In addition to US 68 and Tremont City, German township police are on Upper Valley Pike where the speed limit changes from 45 to 35 without warning. However, because these tickets initially require you to appear in a "Mayor's Court" (thereby putting all of the revenue in their pocket), you can request that the case be heard in the "County Court" in Springfield. At least, German township doesn't get all of your money that way.

St. Rt. 68; County Line Rd.; & Tremont City   German Township, Ohio

German Twp uses KA Band radar on Rt. 68 north of Springfield sitting in the median, under an overpass, clocking both north and southbound traffic. They also sit near the Mad River on County Line Rd., and Upper Valley Pike in Tremont City and north to Champaign Co. They turn off their lights and hide. This is the township's largest revenue maker and they are very aggressive. They provide little margin if you're over the posted speed limit.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
