I-70 West Mile 235   St. Ann, Missouri

Undercover and marked cops are here every day. Drove by yesterday and saw 6 people pulled over at once within a mile stretch and another unmarked car waiting on the shoulder. Almost every day I see 2+ people pulled over at the same time.

3300 block of Ashby Road.   St. Ann, Missouri

Located in front of a school and a Park across the street the speed limit suddenly changes. Too late, they already have you. The fines are outrageous.

WB Baltimore Ave., just off of Ashby Rd, in St. Ann, Mo.   St. Ann, Missouri

When you turn off of Ashby onto Baltimore Ave., you are going down a hill. Just as you start to go up the hill, there on the side of the road is a sign slow school zone, with a sign below it that says speed limit 15 mph. The school in question is approx. 1000 feet away from the posted speed limit sign, with a large row of trees blocking the schools first entrance. At the speed limit sign, there are no yellow flashing lights to help bring this school zone speed to anybody's attention. After all it is for the safety of the school children. RIGHT? At one of the other school zone speed signs on Ashby, there is not only a speed zone sign to inform motorists, but also flashing yellow lights to also help bring attention to oncoming motorists. The speed trap in question on Baltimore Ave., has a temporary camera on a portable trailer, so they can position this trap any where they want at a moments notice, and it also is well hidden a amongst telephone polls and various other signs. I feel this is a speed trap without any warning.

Airport exit   St. Ann, Missouri

Not only is this a speed trap, but a posted safety zone that allows the city to collect DOUBLE the traffic fine that would normally be assessed. On Friday, 14 October 2011, the trap stopped several members of our funeral procession to include the car that was carrying my mothers ashes. One of my family was ticketed even after telling the officer he was in a funeral procession.

Ashby Road   St. Ann, Missouri

Cameras attached to lights in front of Hoesh School. Yellow flashing light on when 20 mile speed limit is in effect, yet lights are always flashing, even during school holidays. Not much warning about speed change when traveling North on Ashby from Page.
