Bridge over the intracoastal on 210   Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Speed limit is 45 or 40 and cops could be anywhere around the bridge on either side or even on the top of the bridge. They are usually there most week days before or after school trying to ticket kids from PVHS. They don't always run radar and don't always pull over speeders (once I was going about 70 or 80 and didn't get pulled over), but don't count on that happening.

Mickler Road near State Road A1A to County Road 210 Roundabout   Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

This street is a two lane road with a 35 mile an hour speed limit with curves which cops can hide really good plus this road has trees on both sides so be very careful on Mickler Road!

State Route A1A North/South Bound near Butler   Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Heads up! Early AM commuters between Corona and Butler watch out. One or two Sheriff's cars sitting in the middle watching for speeding. They are usually there between 6:00A and 7:30A (Until traffic builds and slows).

Corona Road near A1A N.   Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Constant enforcement of 25mph speed limit. Motorists are constantly driving at 35-40mph down this 1/4 mile long street. They sit everywhere between Lemaster and Ponte Vedra Blvd, especially where the road curves. Beware, they are out there everyday several times a day. Just slow down. It is too short of a road to make a difference going fast.

State Highway A1A near Duval/St. John's County line   Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

As you pass Butler Blvd. on A1A southbound, it goes from an urban road to a much more wide-open one instantly. The St. John's County line is about half a mile south, and occasionally late at night you'll see St. John's County deputies parked off the side of the road running radar. They make no real effort to hide themselves and will generally give a warning for less than 15 over, assuming they pull you all. I admit to blasting by them at 61 once in a 45 zone, and as far as I could tell, they didn't even look up.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
