Rt. 40, from Rt. 3 to the Groton Line   Westford, Massachusetts

Pretty much this entire stretch is constantly patrolled and seems to be a major revenue producer for the town. Speed traps can be in any commercial driveway or anywhere the cruiser can pull enough off on the side of the road to lay in wait. Near the intersection of Rt. 40 and Tyngsboro Rd./Depot St. is a good place to find one pulled off to the side. Fortunately, nearly every cruiser in Westford has its radar on constantly, so even the most basic radar detector will find them. Just your eyes and ears open (and keep it down around 40 mph) and you'll hopefully escape harassment.

@ intersection of Groton rd. (rte.40) & Oakhill rd.   Westford, Massachusetts

they usually sit in the entrence of Packard machine on rte. 40 diagonally across from the Lowell Five Bank faceing south as if they were pulling out of the parking lot. I work very close and see them there Every single day. Every morning, afternoon, and evening. And if they are not sitting there they will be whithin 500 yards along rte. 40.

Depot Rd - Abbot School - Fisher Way   Westford, Massachusetts

Westford PD loves to hang out around Abbot Elementary School to enforce the 20mph speed limit during the morning hours of school and when school gets out. (Around 8am and 3pm). If you see the flashing "School Zone" lights, obey the 20mph limit. Strictly Enforced with radar guns! Police will be sitting in the entrance to Abbot looking down the hill on Depot or on Fisher Way looking towards the center of town.

Littleton Rd   Westford, Massachusetts

There is almost always a cruiser somewhere around here on this road. They will generally hide behind the trees in front of the electrical substation, around St. Mary's Dr, or by the service entrance of the Westford Grille.

Depot Road near Nutting Road   Westford, Massachusetts

Driving on Depot Road between Nutting Road and the Rail Road Track at the bridge there is often a speed trap, either where the town well is or the street almost directly across from it.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
