Foristell, Missouri Speed Traps
Highway T Just north of OO
Foristell police will pull off the side of highway T just north of OO in a parking lot with their lights off and shoot you literally as you drive by. Foristell sits in both St. Charles and Warren counties so they can chase you all the way down to OO and follow you for as long as they like to nail you.
This police department is notorious for outrageous tickets and generates 80% of the revenue for Foristell.
Next to McDonald’s
Foristell police turn parking signs away from road so you can not see them. They wait and tickets you saying that it is your responsibility to see the signs???
Foristell uses their police to generate money for the town.
Front Of McDonalds south of I70
Signs are turned so you can not see them as you drive by. Officer waits beside building for out of area trucks to drive by. He writes ticket and tells you it is your, "Responsibility to know the speed limit" even with the signs being turn away from the road. Officer told me out of area trucks are an easy target.
Interstate 70 near Interstate 70 near truck stop
Foristell will sit in between east and West Highway 70. He is there almost all the time. Most of the time he shots West bound 70. He will shot you with his pro laser 3 about 500-1200 feet away. You will never see him in till it’s to late. Time to get a laser jammer? Been known to search many cars after getting pulled over for speeding! Any one else seen them in this great spot?
State Highway W near Service Road
Officer was sitting with radar. He observed me driving slightly off the pavement onto the shoulder to go around a dump truck. I came to a complete stop, started around the truck, and the officer pulled me over, gave me a ticket for running off the pavement. He gave me a ticket for passing on/driving on shoulder, cost $178 plus $52 court costs, which was very excessive for a minor offense. I feel that in a town of 331 people, four police cars parked in the police lot, not being used, plus those on patrol. It is obvious that this little town uses it’s police force to generate funds from unsuspecting motorists from out of town. This town of Foristell intersects with I-70, which is the main speed trap for tourists and truckers.
