Huasna Rd & Pear St. (across from Strother Park)   Arroyo Grande, California

Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officer with radar gun targets vehicles coming down the straight-away, following the last curve of the road, coming from the direction of Lopez Lake. Parking on either side of the road, the motorcycle and officer blend well with background scenery and are not easily seen. The posted speed limit is 45 mph, reflective of the curvy road towards Lopez Lake. Motorists are easily lulled into speeding up a bit on the long, open straight-away, just prior to entering town.

Highway 101 and Thompson Rd Off Ramp   Arroyo Grande, California

Going North on Highway 101 From the Thompson Road Off Ramp onto the 101, a Highway Patrol sits and waits to catch speeding autos either from the off ramp or all along the Highway between Thompson and the city of Arroyo Gande at different turnouts, usually on the northbound side of the highway at. Just before the off ramp from 101 to Traffic lane there is a patrol that sits and waits as you make the last bend in the highway bofore the off ramp, you come upon him before you know it he is in a turn out on the right.

Crown Hill St & McKinley St   Arroyo Grande, California

Cop hides and pulls people over claiming the speed limit is 30 when in fact the last posted speed limit sign is 40. Beware, cops in this area apparently don't follow procedure by checking to make sure the signs are clearly posted.

School Zone w/o flashing lights or time.

Tally Ho Road near James Way   Arroyo Grande, California

Tally Ho Road for many years had a speed limit of 35 MPH. Recently the speed limit was reduced to 25 MPH. This is a wide residential street very similar to James Way. The speed limit on James Way is 35 MPH.
