I-80 Between Rt. 46 and Ohio Turnpike   Austintown, Ohio

On I-80 between Rt. 46 and the Ohio Turnpike are three emergency turnarounds that are heavily patroled by OHP due to the heavy truck traffic and Turnpike exit 218 (the busiest of the turnpike). If you're heading west after Rt. 46 as you top the hill theres a turnaround there where they run radar. It's nearly impossible to slow down fast enough not to get tagged.

Idaho Rd. between Burkey Rd. & Mahoning Ave.   Austintown, Ohio

Speed Limit is 25mph and the police sit along there due to the schools on that road.

Burkey Road, Between Raccoon Rd. and Idaho Road   Austintown, Ohio

Cops are always on Burkey Rd., especially by the Fitch Schools. They like to pull you over on Burkey, because it is 25 mph, and a lot of people take that shortcut home from work or from school. The police have a field day giving out tickets there, so be careful. I got a warning and wasn't ticketed. I never saw the copp at all. I have no idea where he was hiding.....so be careful traveling that street.

Mahoning Avenue   Austintown, Ohio

State Police and Austintown Township Police sit on Mahoning Avenue in many plazas and parking lots as it is a highly commercialized 5 lane road. They can be anywhere from Meridian Road on the East end of the township, to the Austintown Plaza on the West end of the township. There are 50+ bars and many 24 hr diners on this stretch of road. Anyone leaving these bars past midnight Thurs-Sun beware! Especially around State Route 11, due to many out of town customers to these bars, going back home or eating breakfast after bar closing hours.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
