West Fifth Avenue near Riverside Drive

Grandview Heights, OhioDec 12, 20031 Comments

Watch out for parking lots between railroad and Riverside Dr., alone W. Fifth Ave. Sometimes Grandview Heights P.D. will set up an illegal speed trap, along W. Fifth Ave, on the ridge overlooking the Scioto River bridge. NOTE: this is outside of their jurisdiction, west of Riverside Dr. This area is the jurisdiction of Columbus P. D. This may be the reason for the late night enforcement of this area. W. Fifth Ave., in the area has winding, steep grade. When stopped, a second cruiser quickly arrives as back-up to swarm the motorist.
