State Route 79 just North of U.S. 40   Hebron, Ohio

Cruiser sits in center median aiming at northbound traffic during the morning commute. He is not visible until you crest the hill about 1/4 mile away. If you are speeding, there is no time to slow down before the radar clocks you.

State Highway 79 near Interstate 70   Hebron, Ohio

Located on State Route 79 between US 40 (National Road) and Interstate 70--there is no posted speed limit southbound on this four-lane divided highway. Northbound there is a sign posted at 50 mph. Most of the traffic flows at 65 on this mile-long stretch southbound. Tickets seem to be more likely during off-peak hours when "speed of traffic" cannot be determined. Nearby village of Hebron holds a Mayor's Court for those caught speeding on this stretch.
