Parker Dam Road near Emerald Cove and Windmill Resort   Earp, California

About midway between the Arizona bridge and the Parker Dam on Parker Dam Road is a Fire Station. Next to the fire station is a hill atop which Sheriffs and BLM Rangers like to park giving them a wide view of traffic coming from both directions. You won't even see them until you're right under them and by then they already saw you through the binoculars,radioed your description to a hidden patrol car, and suddenly your weekend is in shambles.

State Route 95 near Bridge, crossing into Ca.   Earp, California

While crossing the bridge from the Arizona side of the Colorado River, to the Cal. side.
Mainly in the evening, there is a CHP that is new and waiting for you.
He has stopped me twice, with a ticket on the second stop.
Also he is on route 62 on the Cal side going toward Desert Center, be cool, and have your eyes open.
