Franklin Street off state route 73   Waynesville, Ohio

I turned left off east route 73 on to Franklin Street in Waynesville and slowed down from 37mph to 25mph when I saw the sign - 25 MILE Speed Limit- which is located about 1 mile from where I entered Franklin Street . You guessed it... I was breaking the Waynesville law...$110.00 fine... Speed trap?

The speed limit drops from 55 to 50 and the entire section of road is heavily patroled.

State Route 48 near State Highway 73   Waynesville, Ohio

I was approaching Waynesville from the south on Rt 48. As I came down the hill on the outside lane, a truck was on the inside lane. I did not see the speed reduce to 50mph. A Waynesville officer was sitting in the median with his lights out.
