Boulder City, Nevada Speed Traps
The whole City
Unfortunately, I have to work in Boulder City and I just want to warn EVERYONE that basically the whole city is a police trap. Speeding, cell phone use, registration lapse, looking at the police in a mean way, are all enforced. Just don’t stop in Boulder City because they love their PD. Keep moving (slowly and don’t use your phone)
Hwy 95 OffRamp
Huge Speed trap this morning. It on the hill as you approach Boulder City from Las Vegas. Cops everywhere. Today is Oct.26,2011 7:40 am.
Just east of the 93/95 exchange.
There will be one cop on the left side of the road with a radar gun that radios the ridiculously long line of patrol units siding on the 93 on ramp. Got singled out in a line of cars doing 70 in a 55. There were 18 units and bikes waiting single file to pull people over. Passed six others pulled over in the mile and a half before the town starts. Speed trap
Adams Street School Zone
School zones are marked but some Boulder city officers cant tell time. I was pulled over in the school zone at 10:45am, school zones start at 11:00, I was able to get this knocked down to 37/35, oh yes Boulder City stills pulls that one, but it was an aggrevation and a lawyer fee because Boulder City’s Finest can’t read time.
Intersection of US route 95 and US route 93
Patrol car will be facing west towards eastbound traffic into Boulder City. The Police car is often parked hidden on the left side in the median just after the bridge of the US route 95 over pass. The car is often placed to nab unsuspecting Las Vegas departing tourists. This is often a 24/7 trap. Beware.
