The old road to Batavia is a through road defined by state law as 35 MPH, Williamsburg placed an illegal 25 MPH sign on this road after the Village Limit sign. As a matter of fact State revised code list the entire length of this road as 35 MPH. If you get a ticket FIGHT IT, you will lose in Mayor’s court, appeal and you’ll win in county court.
McKeever Pike & N 4th St
This is also a through road as defined by stste law with a 35MPH limit. But, Williamsburg put a 25MPH sign on this road. If you get a ticket. FIGHT IT and you’ll lose in Mayors court but you will WIN in county court. Williamsburg lives on traffic fines!

Generally around the evening rush hour as you’re coming down the hill going east on SR32 past the williamsburg a State trooper (sometimes local) car will be sitting in their post spot between the four lanes. They will clock you and pull you over if above 5 mph.
