Savanna, Oklahoma Speed Traps
Hwy 375
Driving in the rain at night. Speed limit is 70 for miles. Then it quickly goes to 40 where there is an intersection. I paid attention to the light and intersection but somehow missed the speed limit change. I guess I was keeping up with the 18 wheeler next to me in the left lane. Cop came out after me and I was confused because I was doing 65. I have not had a ticket since 1986 so I was taken back when he said I was speeding. After departing I knew this place made a living from the poor speed warning. I hope I can help someone else.
Hwy 69, Savanna, OK
I recently moved from TX to MO and then immediately decided to move back for many reasons. I’ve recently received a speeding ticket in March (3/25 at 3am). The speed limit had been 70 for miles… like 50 – 100 miles. The officer claimed it changed to 40 and clocked me at 67. I pleaded for a warning or reduction of any sort… to no avail. Unfortunately, I will have to pay today as I live in TX and no way to show up to fight. This is ridiculous and needs to be addressed for future victims.
