156 Street near 92 Avenue
The usual photo radar in a van on the service road on the west side of 156 Street.
99 St. northbound at about 67 Ave.
The posted limit on 99 St. northbound drops from 60 to 50 kph at Argyll Rd. (63 Ave.) and there’s often a radar or lidar-type trap on a side street just past a mini-mall.
109th Avenue near Groat Road North
While driving North on Groat Road towards 111th Aveune (Westmount Mall), a radar gun is sometimes pointed South at oncoming vehicles.
The police vehicles are normally parked on 109th Avenue and are not visible to the Northbound traffic. They often jump out of the bushes to nab speeders in this 50 km zone to pull them over before reaching the 109 Avenue exit. When here you are swiftly written your ticket, while the radar trap continues for the next victim.
50 Street near 137 Avenue
