Gilbert, Arizona Speed Traps
Gilbert Road near Elliot Road
At the intersection of Gilbert and Elliot there are always Police on high alert watching for speeders. If you are driving North on Gilbert rd. towards Baseline you better slow down. They will bust you and they have MANY hiding spots along there.
arrowhead Trail near Higlet and Queen Creek Road
Arrowhead Trail just East of Higley Road. Sometimes as many as 5 different Police cars and/or police motorcycles. Posted speed limit is 25 MPH. This is a major thoroughfare through Coronado and Power Ranches neighborhood developments. No homes located directly on Arrowhead Trail. It’s just a big wide road going through the developments to gain access to the neighborhoods. The speed limit in my opinion should be 35-40 MPH. This is a cash cow for the Gilbert Police Dept. as they must have given hundreeds of speeding tickets at this location in the last year or so.
Val Vista between Elliot and Warner
Closer to the end of the month you will always see at least 2 motorcycle cops sitting on each side of Val Vista just South of the post office.
Warner Rd between Stapley Rd and Gilbert Rd
Two officers will sit in the Raven Ranch subdivision (on the south side of the road) and just take turns pulling people over (both directions). This enforcement is constant day in, day out. This location is right buy my house and I will see 10-15 tickets handed out per day.
Baseline between Recker and Higley
Generally multiple motorcycle officers hidden in the church, apartment complex or business parking lots. Seem to target westbound traffic.
